“Galacticat Hair Follicles at 100x Zoom”

This painting is one of two that was created for the “Galacticat” installation at 21c Museum & Hotel in Oklahoma City. The installation included a large mural of Kanaly’s infamous “Galacticat” along with two paintings, which exhibited on the 4th-floor Elevation Gallery from 2017-2019. These paintings are undoubtedly a great collection item due to their special history and unique 3D compatibility. When viewed with the 3D glasses (included with purchase), the images appear to stand off the canvas and become a fun conversational piece for visiting guests in any environment. Clean and stylish, these large panels will look great in any modern setting.

Specimen A is an image of hair follicles from a Galacticat at 100x zoom. As you will observe, the hair is duplicating itself in real-time. The mystic hair follicles can self-replicate and propagate asexually, populating far-reaching galaxies – making it virtually impossible to clean up all of the hair from a Galacticat. The specimen is on display courtesy of the Gaia Planetary Observatory Biobank.
